1. Why are prices subject to site survey?
Some drainage issues require further investigation with CCTV surveys and issues can sometimes be caused by intrusions such as tree roots. However, Reactive Drainage Solutions are extremely competitive with our pricing structure.
2. What sort of drainage problems can you help with?
We are able to assist with a wide range of drainage issues, including blocked drains, blocked waste pipes, overflowing manholes and gullies, blocked showers, dishwasher and washing machine flooding, as well as toilet, sink and bath blockages.
3. What’s causing my blocked drain?
Most drain blockages start out as a sticky base layer of fat from butter, lard and oils used in food preparation. From there, hair and other debris such as food waste can become attached to the sticky fat and start to accumulate. Another common cause of blocked drains is flushing things down the toilet that shouldn’t be flushed (for example, wipes and sanitary products).
4. What is a CCTV drain survey?
During a CCTV drain survey, a small fibre optic video line is inserted into a drain pipe. This allows us to identify and assess any issues or blockages, without the need for a more invasive investigation.
